Work Experience/Work Placements Opportunities will be made available on an individual or group basis and each programme will be tailed to meet the needs of the client. Placements will be from one of two options or both: 1. Field based activities, such as coaching, officiating or leading sport and physical activity sessions. 2. Office based activities such as planning, organising and co-ordinating sport and physical activity programmes. Clients within placements will take in roles and responsibilities of a sports coach or/and sports development officer. Each will receive a job description clearly detailing the expectations of the placement. Placements will have set timescales of a maximum of 12 weeks and a minimum of 4 weeks. Each week will comprise of a minimum of 5 hours per week to a maximum of 30 hours a week. Volunteer Placements Opportunities will be made available on a flexible basis to accommodate client's individual circumstances. Placements will be from one of two options or both: 1. Field based activities, such as coaching, officiating or leading sport and physical activity sessions. 2. Office based activities such as planning, organising and co-ordinating sport and physical activity programmes. |
