If you are in receipt of any of the following benefits you may qualify for extra help to get you back into work.

Job Seekers Allowance: there are two initiatives that help recipients of JSA into employment. The New Deal program can provide you with employability training and the Training for Work initiative can give you opportunity for training on the job. Income Support: the employability training provided by the New Deal programme can be tailor made to suit your needs and help you back into work.

Incapacity Benefit: The Pathways to Work programme can offer you the opportunity to work with a specially trained personal adviser who can help you overcome any health issues that might be preventing you from entering employment.

If you have any other queries about your benefits or money issues in general, confidential and free help is available from a number of organisations across the City.

You can meet with specially trained staff within the Discover Opportunities Centre, Monday to Friday 10.00am to 3.00pm, or call them on 01382 434493. You can also meet with staff from the Dundee Employability ActionTeam at venues throughout the city.
